
Molly Wiggins
2025 Summer Legal Fellow
Molly Wiggins is a 2025 summer legal fellow at the Human Trafficking Legal Center. She is a rising second-year law student at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Wiggins served as the 1L Class Coordinator for the Environmental Law Project and is an incoming member of the General Negotiations Team of the Holderness Moot Court. Before law school, she worked for over two years at The Outlaw Ocean Project, an investigative journalism nonprofit focused on human rights and environmental abuses at sea. Her work included serving as the primary liaison for global media partners, overseeing multilingual publication logistics, and conducting in-depth research that contributed to award-winning investigations, corporate divestment, and successful funding proposals.
Wiggins has lived and worked internationally, including a year in France and an extended solo backpacking trip across Southeast Asia and Australia. She is passionate about corporate accountability, international human rights, and using litigation to advance justice for vulnerable populations.
