Klarke Stricklen
Summer 2022 Intern
Klarke Stricklen is a summer intern at the Human Trafficking Legal Center, where she supports the communications team.
Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, she is passionate about fostering inclusive spaces through historical research and story-telling. Her honors senior thesis focuses on her undergraduate institution’s ties to slavery and making a case for reparations.
Stricklen is a recent graduate of the University of the South. Recently, she was named a 2021 Truman Scholar and Rhodes Scholar-elect. Stricklen will continue her studies at Oxford University, where she will pursue a master’s of studies in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies.
